Reporting to the Chancellor, the Director of Athletics must demonstrate integrity, vision, character and a passion for excellence. The Director of Athletics must direct and manage the Department of Athletics with the highest level of integrity to maintain full compliance with Title IX and state and federal laws, as well as all university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. The Director of Athletics will pursue fundraising activities and alumni support, enlist community engagement and foster strategic partnerships. The Director of Athletics must honor the University’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. Keiser University West Palm Beach is conveniently located off Okeechobee Boulevard only minutes from Florida’s Turnpike. Founded as a business school in 1914 by Gertrude I. Johnson and Mary T. Wales, JWU enrolled 7,357 students across its campuses in the fall of 2020. The Design program at Keiser University was filled with real world learning and hands on instruction… Based on the portfolio I created while a student at Keiser University, I landed a job in Graphic Design for a major online retailer immediately after graduation. Black Board Learn is Keiser University’s online platform and learning management system. Blackboard Learn gives instructors the opportunity to design online course sites that are highly optimized for online learning and integrated with Keiser University’s enrollment and communication systems. Students enrolled in online courses can easily find their orientation, course information, and additional resources here. Financial aid is disbursed to students in different ways depending on the type of aid and other factors. Provide quality comprehensive care for student-athletes through prevention, evaluation, care and treatment of injuries and illnesses and assist with injury rehabilitation. I realize the amount of knowledge I gained and feel that the educational experiences have developed me in to a person who can move higher up the career ladder. If not for my education at Keiser I probably would not be where I am today, in both life and career.
Nursing
Former UNCW basketball standout Devontae Cacok '19 became the first Seahawk to be part of an NBA championship team in 2020 as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. UNCW’s student-athletes have taken great pride in preparing themselves to become outstanding leaders in their chosen fields and in the community. The university’s 311 student-athletes in 2022 reached a cumulative 3.394 grade point average and 61 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA. The suit was redesigned and revealed at the annual family weekend on October 16, 2013, as an early start to the school's centennial year .
I chose Keiser because it had everything—small classes, caring professors, hands-on learning, and counselors that are really there for you. They believed in my ability to become a great graphic designer, regardless of how I felt about my skills. KU helped to prepare me for the real world and got me to where I am today. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. The Wildcat Center is the athletic facility of Johnson & Wales University. Denver was the only campus to officially have that name, until the Providence campus renamed its gym as well and the construction of the Charlotte campus athletic facility.
The athletic teams of the Charlotte campus are members of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association , primarily competing in the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference since the 2018–19 academic year. Providence now features the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex, located on the Harborside campus, which hosts baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey. Johnson & Wales Business School was founded in September 1914 in Providence, Rhode Island. Founders Gertrude I. Johnson and Mary T. Wales met as students at Pennsylvania State Normal School in Millersville, Pennsylvania. Years later, both were teaching at Bryant and Stratton business school in Providence when they decided to team up and open a business school. The school opened with one student and one typewriter on Hope Street in Providence.

As part of the North Miami campus's closure in 2021, on July 28, 2020, JWU published a memorandum that detailed the discontinuation of all sports seasons and competitions there. Two previous campuses in Charleston, South Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia , were gradually consolidated into the Charlotte campus, starting in September 2003 and ending in May 2006 with the closures of these campuses.
Previously the costumes had been very different across the four campuses, but the new design replaced all former costumes. Willie appears at home games, alumni events, and other special events. He is played by multiple students, meaning that JWU can accept requests for him to appear at many events. Although the various campuses compete either in the NAIA, USCAA, or NCAA Division III, Willie follows the rules of a Division I mascot, including never breaking character. These grants are considered the foundation of federal financial aid, to which aid from other federal and non-federal sources might be added.
The college officially became Johnson & Wales University in 1988, known informally as JWU. The Master of Science in Nursing program is designed to prepare students for leadership in patient-centered care and professional nursing practice. Designed for students beginning their first professional Nursing program, the Traditional BSN degree program enables students to provide top-tier care. The Accelerated BSN program is designed for students who have previous college experience and are interested in a professional nursing program. Blackboard is Keiser University’s online platform and learning management system.
Pell Grants are only awarded to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a bachelor’s or a professional degree. In order to apply for a Pell Grant, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid . The U.S. Department of Education uses a standard formula to evaluate the financial information provided on this application to determine a student’s eligibility for a Pell Grant. Award amounts vary based on a student’s financial need, an institution’s cost of attendance and enrollment status.
